I came across this cream one day when I was roaming around Shoppers Drug Mart. I have to say that this store is one of my "happy places". All the makeup, creams, perfumes!!! And while I'm buying makeup I can still pick up some toilet paper and Advil Cold and Sinus. Isn't that GREAT!!! I also get to know the ladies that work in the cosmetic area and they always let me know when a special event or new item is coming in. Now you gotta like that!
Now getting back to Cicaplast. It says that it is an Epidermal Recovery Accelerator (you gotta love cosmetic companies ability to word stuff!). Well, I still had break outs in my 30's and now my 40's....UGH and I thought after I got my braces off in high school, my days of zits would be behind me. I guess not! And I won't even go into the little black hair that keeps growing out of my chin that my mother never told me would happen. So now every time I get a zit after it clears up I get this red colored type scar left behind and it takes months before it fades. But after the zit is popped (sorry for being gross but we have all been there) or gone down I cover the affected area with this cream and go to bed every night until the red is gone. I can now have all the redness gone and hopefully not a scar ("thou shall never pick" I keep telling myself or at least my dermatologist keeps telling me that) and it's gone in a week. Now my hairdresser just had a baby and said that every cream that she has tried for stretch marks isn't working so I told her that as long as the stretch marks are red then I think this should work so I will have to update you on how it's worked for her in a few months.
So the Ask Aimee review I give this a 5 stars
